I couldn't help myself laughing while reading this article about a girl being stabbed in the eye at some highschool in England.

Quote:
Her father, Humperdinck Jackman, described the moment he saw...

It's still cracking me up. Am I bad man? Good grief.

However, it is sad this girl has such bad luck:
Quote:
Police also revealed the teenager was the victim of an unrelated hit-and-run incident on Christmas Day 2003.

Damn first a hit and run, and then being stabbed in the eye by two other girls while standing in a canteen. That's what I call bad luck. Shocked

I'll hear none of it! What kind of world would we live in where you can't laugh at someone named Humperdinck? No world I want to live in!

Now, if you came up in here and said you were getting your giggles on account of her face-stabbing, then yes, you'd likely be a terrible person. The way I see it, her dad (well, her grandparents I guess) made it a little easier to get through an article about a poor unfortunate scamp that would be so depressing otherwise that you'd just delete it from despair. Honestly, do we want to drive people to drink over the sad lives of other's children? No! And that's why Humperdinck Jackman (the last name really rounds it out, don't you think?) should be the focus of the next Budweiser commercial. "We salute you, guy with a weird name that saves us all from the sad lives of urchins everywhere. (back up vocal guy: They're all over the place!)"

Note: I wrote this before reading the article. The name's still funny, and the actions really suck.
