Just a few comments as I read through:
The picture at the beginning should probably have melted into something OTHER than Virtua Tennis (or whatever it is). It appeared to me to be reused from your last article. Melting into Halo2 might have been more appropriate, considering you lead the article with a cost comparison between Pac-Mac and Halo2. In fact, even using Pac-Man instead of Pong might have been nice too.
On page three you used "plethora" in both paragraphs 3 and 4. While a good word for either situation, using it twice so close together sounds repetitive and really stuck out to me.

It was, and it was a deliberate choice of mine to do it that way. I wanted people to remember my last article. Looks like it worked!

You forgot to mention that Pong and a tennis game are related, whereas there isn't really a good old-timey-to-OMGHALO2!-transtion.

That too was part of the decision.
I like having the ability to decide little things like this on my own. It makes the whole writing process more interesting and fun.
I was more worried about flames coming from this article than any article I'd done previously, but maybe some of that worry paid off, as the linked discussion seems pretty positive so far. Now if someone could just link to the article on /.!!
