Went to see Weird Al Yancovic in concert! I was surprised that he did so many older songs, including one I hadn't personally seen performed (and probably hadn't been live since the 80s). The Al concerts generally sport a young audience overall -- parents who are fans that bring their kids/teenagers -- but even more surprising to me is the number of these young'uns who actually know the lyrics to his old material. It reminds me of the sad fact that I have all his old material on vinyl and not CD
Just thought I'd share, since I had a great time and others may be intersted in hearing about it. Later this month we're going to see Devo in NYC, so I may be posting a report on that experience as well.
Here's some fan-created Flash for the song "Angry White Guy Polka" -- enjoy.

"Hey fella, I bet you're still living in your parents' cellar, downloading pictures of Sarah Michelle Gellar..."
Yes, that was certainly one of the songs performed. From what I can recall, he did these:
Angry White Boy Polka, Couch Potato, Melanie, Your Horoscope For Today, Wanna B Ur Lovr, One More Minute, A Complicated Song, Theme From Rocky XIII, (medley) Money For Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies/Ode To A Superhero/Ebay/Pretty Fly For A Rabbi/Jerry Springer/Jurassic Park/My Bologna, It's All About The Pentiums, Amish Paradise, Trash Day, Smells Like Nirvana, Dog Eat Dog, Fat. Encore: The Saga Begins, Yoda.
At least, that's what I can remember.

I think "It's all about the Pentiums" should be the official theme song of our July trip to OptiLand.

You should fine some old P1s from a PC graveyard, cut and grind the pins off, and make glam jewlery. Big, goofy looking crap, and see if Opti can sneek you onto the MS campus so you can geek out (i.e. breakdance!) in front of them all. I bet 60%+ get the joke. You should sing too. I should stop typing. Yeah.

I've never been able to drill through one of those Pentium chips. I think you need a special drill bit or something.
Besides, if you leave the pins on, it will just stick in the side of your face and can pull of the Pentium/Borg look. Slap a Windows XP sticker on your forehead and you should be able to penetrate the MS Inner Sanctum Sanctorum.
