SFC 3 first chance I get.

www.starfleetcommand3.net

Sweet. Just like my SFC I mod except the ships are all prettier, the weapons are all more modern(quantum torpedoes! yum!) and there's actual WARP. Abalative armor. Regenerative shielding.

VERY cool.

Icewind Dale II is another.

Good stuff. Last game built on the venerable Infinity engine.

I know, I know..."Madan, you've barely touched your multiplayer NWN!"
I can't seem to find any of you online, so I'll wait a bit longer. Very Happy

I just downloaded the Netrek binary for XP.

Ah, the good old days.

J.

Give the Battlefield 1942 demo a try. It totally rocks. Unless you have a GeForce 2. Then it doesn't do anything at all. Mad

Well that bites, and I can't afford to upgrade my card right now.

I bought Icewind Dale II this weekend. And last week I finally got around to installing NWN. Oh, and I installed Morrowind a few days ago too.

Sadly I have damn near no time to indulge these, as any spare computer time I've had has been spent playing Madden 2003 (for a complete change of genre). Which is also why I've not been here or at Ars much.

Now, if it didn't cost an arm and a leg just to get a decent PCI vid card for my 7600. I mean, c'mon! $110US for a fucking ATI 7000? With only 32MB? Jebus!

The last game I played seriously was Rugby 2001. That is, until I 0wned every team in the game playing as Canada (which are somewhere in the middle for skillz).

I also played half a season of NHL 2002, following along with the real Edmonton Oilers. However, I lost interest right around last xmas and never finished the season......pretty much the same as the real Edmonton Oilers......

I don't have much time for games these days.

Good games on the horizon:

Duke Nukem Forever. And I dont want to hear any of those lame jokes floating round the net.

Masters of Orion 3.

All the other good games I might miss will be warez'd anyway.

Hurrah for IRC!

I'm totally hot for MOO3. I loved the first two. The coolest thing about Moo2 was the Bab5 mod someone made for it... that rocked! Cruising in with a huge fleet of Minbari ships... yeah baby!

Yeah, that and the Bab5 mod for Freespace2, it's like, who needs fuckin' Sierra? WE'LL MAKE OUR OWN BAB5 GAMES K THX BYE

Unfortunately I have lost the links to all these mods, but Google is your friend. They do exist-- I've actually downloaded and installed all but the XWA one (but I went to their website, so it exists too)
