My sister bought 'Billy Joel, Piano Man: The Very Best Off...', which I am listening to right now. Man, some of these songs are old.
lol! Am now listening too, 'Its still Rock'n'roll in me'. Gosh some of these songs are so corny.

Yeah I read about that and how later it was revealed that the piano skills were exaggerated and apparently the guy could only play a few notes over and over again.

There's a homeless guy by the Granville Skytrain Station who always plays Pianoman... but here's the kicker, he plays it on his guitar.

This is likely true of a LOT of rock/pop musicians. AYB really lieks Billy Joel, and hears that he's been studying with a concert pianist for the last decade or so such that he's really a good piano player now

Wha? The link Lewis gave has nothing to do with pop/rock musicians or Billy Joel. It's some guy that was found wandering around who sufferend from amnesia and then reports of him being this genius piano player surfaced. Turns out the reports on his piano skills were greatly exaggerated. And for what it's worth, the guy looks nothing like Billy Joel either.

More importantly, this man was sober. How could you possibly confuse the two?
