Can't wait to see the rants where that's somehow Ars and especially Jeremy's fault...

Still going, 14 months on. WindowsITPro comments were down for a little bit, but are back now? What happened?
Somebody should archive the comments, as it's definitely part of the record.
No, actually, someone should collect all the comments he's made and write a statistical AI program that spouts out random APK-sounding things. It would be difficult to match APK's strictly predictable behavior, but someone should try anyway.

No idea. He must be talking to himself now, because he certainly isn't talking to me. I abandoned the thread about a month ago and am far happier for it. I don't even read it anymore, let alone respond.
He deserves to live in the hell that is his own making.

A month or two ago I went to check out the "progress" (HA!) and was presented with a screen that said I had to be a paid subscriber.
I figured that was their way of ending the thread.
Oh, well.
I never did find out if APK liked strawberries.

Hmm. Kind of a fitting end, I guess. Going out with a whimper instead of a bang.
Kind of glad it's all over and done with. It was fun for awhile, but continuing a long-term argument with an actually insane person is not much fun. It actually starts taking over your mind in a creepy kind of way.

You don't have to pay anything to look at the thread, and I assume not to post. Perhaps that was temporary during the "rush."
I can't decide if apk is really posting halfway lucid comments as an anonymous user to back himself up, or if there really are crazy people that agree with him. Perhaps he has a different computer for each personality, heh.

He spent the entire thread inventing anonymous personas to "agree" with him, so I'm not surprised he's still doing that.
What would be funnier is if he had to start inventing more anonymous personas to disagree with him, since everybody has basically abandoned the thread.

He may not need to make up arguments against himself. He's moved on to Slashdot now, and several silly people are modding him up (1, 2). Slasdot's karma system just makes the problem that much worse.
Those "supporter" posts are clearly by APK. His theories are so oddball that it's painful to imagine even one other person who agrees with him 100%. And nobody could read through all the comments without getting a gut feeling that something is very wrong with APK.
The "paid subscriber" blank page was up for more than two weeks. I didn't check other threads, I just assumed the admins had put the thread out of its misery. But it's all back now, and the cut-n-pasting is back in swing.
I'd really like to meet him in real life. I'd like to know how well he gets along with coworkers (if any), whether his mom thinks he should visit a psychiatrist, if he tried that, and if so, how it went. Though probably within 5 minutes, he'd either slug me, or I couldn't stand his outrageous comments any more.

Wow, that first thread is already a doozy. He's replaced 5 stars on ZDNet with "Slashdot karma" as the ultimate proof of his worthiness as a human being.
Someone should link to the WindowsITPro thread every time he posts.
Or not.

Or we could ignore him, for he is unworthy of our attention.
Nah, that's crazy talk!

Yeah, that's really the best solution. All he wants is the attention, really.

Bumpage, because there has been no APK reply to The Thread in over a month, which means, against all odds, that I got the last word in after all.
I'm so childish.

I think I'm safe from both APK's lawyers and JT. (APK should hire JT. It would be infinite retard recursion!) I did forget however the preference that he not be mentioned in Ars threads because of his shitheaded antics though.
In other news, am I* the only one that found such a similarity remarkaly striking? That was in my head from the start. Weird.

Hell no you aren't. I'm quite convinced that they are both distantly related and if you dig back far enough into their geneaology you will find evidence of multiple incidents of incests that are indirectly responsible for bringing these idiots into the world.
Yeah it's just a theory but damn it really fits the facts...

The main difference between APK and Jack Thompson is that APK never appeared on CNN.
