Fuck, tell me you will fix the problem and then send me pr0n! Ugh, I stayed up 3 hours just so I could tell my boss in New York, "Yes, I spoke to them and specifically told European NT Ops to look into the problem."
Wouldn't a nice email have been better?

Welcome to the international IT market.
We have offices in Amsterdam and in London. Dealing with the IT staff there is like beating your own head in with a milk dud. Pointless, eventually painful, and it tends to make a mess...
Which is why I just remote console into the systems and do it all myself. |

Oh, in my fantasies I can do that ... but I instead am limited to the Unix boxes (my primary responsibility) in HR.
Our offices are in London, France (??), Hong Kong, New York, and I think Singapore. Strangely, all are very responsive to requests except New York.
